"Friends Hurt Friends" was initially intended to be a three-track demo disc, but it evolved into a beautifully articulated extended play album that has sold over two-thousand copies and has catapulted Everlea into the hottest independent music scene in the world. Armed with a collection of masterfully crafted pop-rock songs, a high-octane live performance, and a work-ethic that skirts the line between passion and obsession, Everlea is captivating audiences and winning over fans one venue at a time.

The fraternity of Justin Dub? Casey Shea, James Young, and Brendan Soares is being recognized as a pillar of the independent music community with invitations to keynote events. Everlea received and enthusiastically accepted requests for them to perform at the 10th Anniversary S.C.E.N.E. Festival and Bedlam Society's 4-Year Anniversary Party.

Aside from leaving an impression on their peers, Everlea is also receiving recognition from media outlets at home and abroad. Due to the traffic generated by their profile on PureVolume.com ?a Boston-based mp3 download site ?Everlea was featured on the front page of the website as a weekly "PurePick". The band has also experienced success on the airwaves, charting on several Canadian college radio stations and seeing their first single "Over This" named one of the "Best 105 Rock Songs of 2005" by CIKR K-Rock 105.7.

Everlea has also started to garner accolades at international music festivals. In September 2005, Everlea was named Best Non-Local Act at IndieWeek Toronto. Two months later in New York City, the band stunned M.E.A.N.Y. Fest representatives at Crash Mansion and Everlea was crowned the festival's National Pick and received an invitation to perform at CBGB's.

American audiences have also extended a warm welcome to the band at festival showcases in Detroit, Michigan and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Support from south of the border even extends into on-line album sales, with American music lovers buying more copies of "Friends Hurt Friends" than fans from Canada, Europe, and Asia combined.

Everlea is now looking forward to the completion of their first full-length album and the accompanying promotional tour where they will continue to spread the good word of Rock to eager ears and open minds.

The Official REALISE DATE for EVERLEA 2007 is May 22, 2007.
