This guitar solo is amazing! When i first listened to this song, it was just on one big Evanescence playlist. Well i had to stop what i was doing just to see exactly what song this was. Then i made an anime music video to it-well, to the guitar solo through the ending...i love this song.

This song is, to me, one of the better Evanescence songs. It's sad, because everyone will someday empathize with this song...maybe not quite to the extreme that is portrayed.
I certainly agree with everyone talking about the eerie quality to this song...the speaker going insane from grief and in denial that her love is dead.
But it is romantic, because it emphasizes that they will never be truly dead if you continue to remember them and love them.

I totally agree with the person just below, this song is obviously about someone losing the person they love most and just going insane. They are in denial about everything but they can still believe their love goes on. The other crazy thing about it is the feel of the song. The sound at the start is kinda creepy.
But I love this heaps, Just for its eerieness.

i think you all see it kind of too romanticy at all. for me this song is clearly about the madness that can befall people when they lost an important person.
just listen to " but now i'm taking you home" and "they don't hear you singing to me"... clearly a point when a person loses it completely.

nevertheless: Great song, i like it for its weirdness.

This song's so beautiful! I'm only a teenager, so I've never actually been in love, but this song still has tons of meaning for me. (Okay...so I AM in love with Edward Cullen....and Edward Scissorhands.........and Howl from Howl's Moving Castle...but those are fictional characters) anyway, this song's so sad and sweet at the same time (it's sweet because she loves him so much) I almost cried when I first heard it.

Evanescence is my favorite band! They're songs are so beautiful and have so much meaning!

I think this is my other favorite song now, besides Missing (also by Evanescence)

I think that real love last 4 ever too, and this song shows that one resist to believe that the person has gone. she still hears he is singing to her.. so.. she's still livin with him .. love is the most wounderfull of the world.. and anything can't broke it. allways persist

I lost my fiance in a bike crash earlier this year, evanescence sung a lot of songs that meant a lot to us both and were played at his funeral. I have never heard a song that sums up a persons feelings as much this has summed mine up, amazing song.

About the last line and dont get me wrong, i love it too.
But I just love 'And I can't love you anymore than I do' because its like someones proclaiming their love,
It could be true for just about anyone.
I know it is for me.
Its a beautiful song that i cant help but join in to whenever i hear it, and Amy Lee's viove is sooooo =O
