This was the first album I listened to. There is a variety of different songs, and each song has a different feeling, or 'colour'. I personally think Amy's voice is just as good if not better that her later albums. My fave songs are Whisper, Imaginary, WHere Will You Go, Anywhere, Away from me... well all of them are 5 star! Origin | Reviewer: Sue | 8/19/07 For fans of Fallen and The Open Door, this album is a must. I recently downloaded it and listen to it all the time. My favorite song is Where Will You Go?. As always, Amy Lee does a great job. If you're having trouble finding this album, all of the songs from Origin are on YouTube. It is possible to download them and convert them into mp3 files, which is what I did (just google tutorials on how to do this - it's what I did). While time consuming, it's a lot easier than trying to find Origin in stores and definitely a lot cheaper. Origin 11 Tracks or 19 Tracks! | Reviewer: chris | 8/3/07 hay guys, I'm from the UK and spent about $100 getting a copy of Origin over here from the USA. it's the original 11 track version which is awesome but there is also a 19 track "re-release" or "boot leg" floating around with some unheard songs, i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a copy? I disagree with Stacey (above) about experimentation on this one. It provides a glimpse of a band searching for its niche, so there is more variation here than on Fallen or Open Door. It's too bad Ben left the band, as the stranger stuff was likely his doing (I especially love the close-range lightning strike in 'Eternal'!).
