Just wanted to say that this is an AMAZING song !! quiet diffrent than the normal thing they do but they still rocked this song ! Amy and the band's music has helped me through a lot and I think without there music we would not know true music and I have been a fan of them since forever and have supported them all the way. And I just wish people would stop hating on them just cause they are not new or rap. There is more to music than auto tune and bigg flashing lights. Singing takes strength and courage and talent. Speaking as a fellow singer myself its kinda hard to sing infront of a big crowed but yu find the strength deep inside and yu show everyone what yu are made of :)- And if yu wanna chat yu can hit me up on facebook @ Silverstien Bite Jane. This song is so symbolic to me.. It makes me feel like there are others who understand exactly what it's like to be an outcast like I am..
Today, my best friend leaves to be four hours away from me, and I haven't seen her in many weeks even so.. I live away from my friends, attend a different school and depend on social network sites to keep myself and those I love in contact... The only person in my life, my grandmother; is gone, forever... My family hates me.. consumed by greed and and selfishness; they push me aside to further their own debt of life.. I grow tired every day of how much fear I have, being alone where I am now.. I may be only fifteen; and I may still have years to grow into a life where I'm not just a wall or doormat.. But right now is happening, the present occurs to me and states to me how much of hell has been dealt on my plate.. There is no side dish of understanding or an encouraging person in my life.. and I know dessert for me will be sour.. My life; being one big dish of disaster, will end quicker than I'd wish it to... Only because, my faith keeps me strong; and the good die young...
I admire and idol Amy Lee.. Those who have heard me sing say I sound like her.. but nobody ever will.. She's amazing and her voice is the beauty I seek in every day of my life; and I find it just by listening to her sing.. This song.. in a way.. Is one of my mantra's... ; " Walk away when nobody will notice, because they soon will realise that they had lost something important.." . Those who seek comfort, read and know this; Someone will be there with you, to love you... and those who take you for granted, just dont deserve you.. I learnt that the hard way..

I still remember when I was a child... Such a moving song.. Suddenly I feel that I want to remember everything on my childhood, and to forget who I am now.. If only I coulf turn back time.. So that I didn't feel the pain that I feel now.. Amy is always touching my heart and I feel as if she cathces all my feelings... Wonderful!!

I absolutely love this song, and it being my favourite. I understand that Amy would like this song not to be circulated, but if she didn't want that to happen she shouldn't have recorded it. But as far as showing respect, wouldn't it be respectful to show your love and passion for this song rather than bitch and moan at other people for having it? I don't know.
Also, I don't understand why she doesn't put this much depth, passion and emotion into her more recent songs as she does this one. It seems that the talent for good song producing in Evanescence is lacking as of late. I rather have a 4 tracked album with songs like this than 12 of bullshit with no meaning.

Ure mind, U must go on all alone like me, i' m growing day by day and only Ąmy' SONGS are helping me, better to say : saving me, thanks amy, Im 18 and i never had a girl friend and nothing hapend, but only one day without evanescence?! NEVER!!!!

I love this song so much. I feel like it speaks to people like myself and many others who have experienced hard relationships with people who have addiction problems.

I dated an alcoholic who I loved and still love today and he used to pick fights with me when he was drunk and not remember it the next day, drink every night, and turn into a violent stranger every time he did so. When he was sober though, he was the most sweetest, wonderful man and my best friend. It was the hardest thing I could have ever gone through, especially with someone I love.

There's a lot to say about this song and Evanescence itself because the music is so deep. It's great.
