Formed in the fall of 2000. Released first demo a year later, and the first full length, White Knuckles on Turned Wheels in the spring of 2003. White Knuckles was a combination of improvs which turned into songs mixed with some intentional song writing. Chris and Jeff have played together since high school (pre-ethan durelle) and come from a classical, old school emo (mid 90s) background in addition to heavy influences in punk for Chris and metal for Jeff. Evan met up with Chris and Jeff early in college (2000), whose experience consists of simply playing his instrument more years than one of us has fingers. Theo, who joined the band a year after Evan, has a background in late-night ambient improvization, jazz, and mood music. It makes for a cute writing experience, we know.
