I was browsing sites relating to grief after losing my soulmate and their was a link to this song. It sums up exactly how I feel - he is only a heartbeat away but it may as well be a million miles. Bereavement is the hardest thing I have ever faced - the realisation that it is 'me' instead of 'we'. Its a long dark road.

For using English lyrics? First off, her first album had English lyrics; all the Gaelic and Latin came later. Second, unless an artist is just making music for fun and gives away free copies/concerts, never asking for a dime in return, they have, in fact sold out to some degree. But so what? Whether or not an artist earns money does not change the quality of the music, unless we start talking about pop-artists and the music industry's tendency to promote pretty faces with a legion of employees who stuff popular words into the lyrics they write and songwriters who collaborate to find the most popular riffs and new-ish ways to mix them. Enya, however, does her own work. Trend following hipsters yelling 'SELL-OUT', gotta love it.

I own all of the Enya CDs. All of them! LOL I was checking a word just now that I for some reason didn't understand (odd since I know all the lyrics to basically all of her songs.) and so I just looked up the lyrics instead of getting out the CD which is in my room. And when I read the comments on here I felt very happy. This just shows how good of an artist Enya is. Her music can touch everyone. Some people don't know how much her music could touch them until they are forced to listen to it. LOL Then they are like Why havent I listened to this before?? lol its great. people that don't listen to it, well they just dont understand what theyre missing. this is true music with its own unique grace. A lot, not all, but a lot of music anymore is so similar to the next piece of music. Enya is very much seperate. the only similar music to enya is music from her family members and music that is by people trying to make music like her.
