Envy On The Coast is a rock band from Long Island, New
York, where Ryan Hunter and Sal Bossio attended Hofstra
University (Hempstead, NY) for one year before dropping
out. The band was formerly known as "Writ in Water" and had
a different drummer before Dan Gluszak (of Guilt like
Gravity) joined. The band recorded a 5 song EP with
producer Bryan Russell which was released September 19
through PhotoFinish Records, to whom they have recently
signed. The band is being managed by Straylight Run's Will
Noon, and were featured in April's issue of Alternative
Press. The bands first full length CD will be released on
August 7, 2007 and is entitled "Lucy Gray"

They have toured with bands such as 30 Seconds to Mars,
Agent Sparks, Angels & Airwaves, theAudition, Boys Like
More...
