In March 1995 Aksu Hanttu (drums), T-I Mikkola (guitar, at
the time also vocals) and T.Taipale (bass) started to play
together. The name and music style was different. At that
time they played U.S.death metal.

Step by step they started to get bored to that kind of
music and their music became lighter and more melodic. All
progress from U.S. death metal happened inch-by-inch and
finally about two years ago they found their style. But
then they needed a new singer, another guitarist and a
keyboard player. A new singer / 2nd guitarist P.Willman
joined the band in autumn 1997. In December 1997 they made
their first recording by the name Entwine. The tape
includes four tracks of atmospheric metal and was named
