------ About the song I Want My Innocence Back performed by Emilie Autumn
My friend introduced me to Emilie Autumn in 2009. I listen to a lot of symphonic metal and while I could appreciate EA, couldn't quite get my head around her style. Over the past few days, I started listening to more of her songs and....wow. This might be one of my favorites. For me, it's a dark techno song that reminds me faintly of Marilyn Manson and Evanescence. I love the second-to-last stanza, it's my favorite section of the song.
