From their origins as The Wildbunch to their latest phase
as Electric Six, the Electric Six saga has been a saga of
people.
None of them knew it, but throughout the 80s and 90s
thousands of American youths were subjected to close and
continuous observation. Imagine applying for a position in
O Town without knowing you had done so. Imagine out of the
blue one day receiving a phone call: "Congratulations, you
are a member of O Town, now." How would you feel? Would you
want to be in O Town?
The men who would become Electric Six were carefully
selected based on their psychological profiles and

------ About the song Danger! High Voltage performed by Electric Six
That "lady" is not a lady. He's Jack White (The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather). I know that they've both declined this rumour, but it's 110% Jack White. I mean they're even both from Detroit, so...

this is like the greatest song in the world and the music video is even better.... haha!!! but anyways, it has a catchy beat and even though the lyrics might be a little wierd, it is still a great song

I'm pretty sure the phase in the song is correct. "Don't you want to know how we keep starting fires" Otherwise it makes no sense. Kids starting fires and desire...common that sounds dumb.
The song is about a couple who have a strong love lust or "Fire" for each other. The couple explain their strong passion for each other is not fading. Just wathing them has the effect of starting fires.

Lyrics make sense | Reviewer: ask_me
------ About the song Danger! High Voltage performed by Electric Six
I think this song is about people who contrive to stay horny in spite of their age. So they ask us if we want to know how do they contrive to want each other everytime and everywhere and they answer "it's just our disire!". This is it.

------ About the song Danger! High Voltage performed by Electric Six
These lyrics make perfect sense. They are saying that they start fires everywhere they go (metaphorically), they ask if you want to know how they start these fires, then they tell you it is by their desire for each other (good ol' buring love).
I like the more morbid idea of 'how many kids die in fires', but sadly that just is not the case. Even if the singer may have used that line in concert (bands are always changing lyrics when playing live concerts), the fact remains that the lyrics above are what made it onto the album.
Lyrics don't make sense? | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song Danger! High Voltage performed by Electric Six
I think the lyrics are quite obvious and make perfect sense. They are saying that everywhere they go they start fires, then they ask you if you want to know how they start these fires, to which they tell you it is by their desire for each other (good ol' burning love).
I like the morbid idea of 'how many kids die in fires', but sorry to say, that just isn't in the lyrics.

That's the sound of the alarm clock trying to wake you up and help you realize that not only is Glam Rock gratefully dead in it's grave, but this song is just DUMB. There is absolutely NO MEANING to this dead-as-disco anthem, and it makes me get on my knees and pray to the Music Gods in great thanks that Glam Rock gave us David Bowie and then promptly died of its own embarrassment 30 years ago. E6 just hasn't figured out by this point that they are a walking anachronism.
Do yourself a favor and run screaming out of this graveyard and find something else to listen to.

You'd never expect a song like this from a band like this. Sadly, that means alot of people who doesn't appreciate it will hear it while alot of people who whould won't. But I certainly do. This is a gem.
Insanely catchy song | Reviewer: Anonymous

Heh, thought you should know that the "lady" is Jack White.
And this song is probably the most catchy song I've heard in years, so let's not argue about the lyrics. It isn't really that essential.
I kind of agree with "Mistaken" in the beginning when the lady says whatever first "don't you want to know how we keep starting fires"....it does sound like she say "don't you want to know how many kids die in fires"....but from there on it seems as if they just say "don't you want to know how we keep starting fires".....just listen to the song....and replace it with "don't you want to know haw many kids die in fires"...but I.m still a bit confused....really what are the right lyrics??

This is the kind of song that gets the listener either hysterics, blank stares, or new friends. It's so unique and catchy it's impossible not to love. I think I can safely call this my anthem.
Best Party Song Ever | Reviewer: Heheh

Omg...very unexpected in the party mix, lol. At first they start dancing around... then they're like 'wait a minute...WTF?!'. And a moment later, they're dancing again. Especially if everyone is very intoxicated :D.

Aye, I would agree with you there, Mistaken lyrics, my ass. I am deaf also, though I have a cochlear implant and after watching the video and listening to the song about 437589325897489743278957435 times (ok that was a bit of exaduration (however that is spelt)) I can assure you they are correct... It's "don't you want to know how we keep starting fires"
