Eiffel 65 Lyrics

The place is Torino, Italy. It's the early 90s. At the
Bliss Corporation -the esteemed home of numerous successful
dance music producers, acts, and labels, founded by
producer Massimo Gabutti - three young men are brought into
the creative talent pool. In this nurturing environment,
they individually turn out several top ten European dance
floor hits.

Now, eight years later, Jeffrey Jey, Maurizio Lobina, and
Gabry Ponte (still only 20-somethings), together as Eiffel
65, have tapped a global pulse of club-goers with the More...

Review about Eiffel 65 songs
Da Ba De Da Ba Die | Reviewer: Natalie
------ About the song Blue performed by Eiffel 65

Ok, so a lot of people are conflicted about gibberish versus "if I was green I would die." To clear it all up, here's the history behind it: the band originally released the song and a lot of people did what you guys are doing, which was to hear words in that one part. The band actually corrected this and said that it was supposed to be gibberish, and to be absolutely crystal, they changed the name of the song to "I'm Blue (Da Ba De)". Hence, it is actually gibberish; it's still fun to see everyone's interpretations, though.

What I heard the chorus as when i was young was
Oh ah'm blue, adabben dee dabba die dabben de ama die dabben de abba die (repeat)
Is funny, it would seem that NOBODY knows for sure what the chorus is.

incorrect chorus | Reviewer: Flurbledeblah?

Also, the lyrics are NOT if i was gren I would die as far as anyone knows, we all hear what we hear but no matter what we think the chorus lyrics are, until we get confirmation from the people who made the song on what the chorus lyrics are, WE ARE ALL WRONG.

I'm blue (without the beat I would die, without the beat I would die, without the beat I would die.)

I'm blue (without the beat I would die, without the beat I would die, without the beat I would die.)

The Europop Begins! | Reviewer: Sean Daswani
------ About the song Blue (Da Ba De) performed by Eiffel 65

This is my favorite track on the "Europop" album in 1999. This song opens the album with the first verse following by my favorite chorus: I'm Blue. This appeared on many movies I've watched: "Big Fat Liar" (2002), & "Iron Man 3" (2013). This song also appeared: 90210 1st Season Finale Episode (2009): "One Party Can Ruin Your Whole Summer" (The CW 2009-2013), and Daria (MTV). This actually begins the start of Europop, it also appears as an extended version. This also appeared for the first time on RBN (Rock Band Network) as downloadable content for Rock Band 3, the first song on the service to incorporate the keyboard. The RB3 version of the song, in which the song is charted, the bass part on bass, the guitar part on guitar, the vocal on vocals, the drum part on drums and pro drums, and the piano part in the verse and chorus on keyboard and pro keys. Harmonix simplified the guitar and keyboard parts into separated charts for each instrument. I love this song, this is my signature song in my childhood. This song brought me here to Florida.

INCORRECT CHORUS | Reviewer: Anonymous

If you think the chorus is:
"I'm blue, I'm a feat of a guy"
OR
"I'm blue, if I was green I would die"
Then you need to go for a hearing test & get your ears checked. If you manage to pass the hearing test then grab a hold of your ears & pull your head out of your rear end because those are NOT THE WORDS to the chorus!

real meaning | Reviewer: Hidan
------ About the song Blue (Da Ba Dee) performed by Eiffel 65

It actually says da ba dee da ba di. and the reason was that one of the band members eat something that was given to him and after he eat it he started to say "da ba dee da ba di" over and over then he jumped in to the bonfire they had set up and while he was burning he was still saying "da ba dee da ba di" and if you listen to it backwards it says "Eat the body hide the body" an when that song first hit Italy there was a lot of cannibalism going around.

------ About the song Oggi performed by Eiffel 65

A good Reggae/Italo-Dance song. Vocals are intriguing, and there's an interesting reggae-scat component of the song near the end. At first I didn't like it, but after listening a few times I can appreciate the work that went into making this song. So, if you are an Eiffel 65 fan, give this one a shot.
