Edge Of Seventeen Lyrics - Lindsay Lohan
Review The Song (14)
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, Ooh, Ooh
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
And the days go by
Like a strand in the wind
In the web that is my own
I begin again
Said to my friend
Baby
Nothing else mattered
Well he was no more
Than a baby then
Well he seemed broken hearted
Something within him
But the moment
That I first laid
Eyes on him
All alone on the edge of seventeen
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, Baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
I went today
Maybe I will go again tomorrow
Yeah, yeah
And the music there
Well it was
Hauntingly familiar
And I see you doing what I tried to do for me
With the words of a poet
And the voice of a choir
And a melody
Nothing else mattered
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, Baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
The clouds never expect it when it rains
But the sea changes colour
But the sea does not change
So with the slow, graceful flow of age
I went forth with an age old desire to please
On the edge of seventeen
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, Baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, Baby, Ooh, Said Ooh
Just like a white winged dove
Sings a song sounds like she's singing
Ooh, baby, Ooh, Said Ooh

uhhh? | Reviewer: I.L.U.F.J | 5/6/10
Dont know what any of you are talking about? Stevie Nicks did a great job on this song. But so did Lindsay Lohan. Just appreciate the fact that we get to listen to music and hear these amazing musicians.

This sounds awesome... God. Fuck up. It's called opinion, it's OKAY to have one. No one is right or wrong, but there's no reason to hate on Lindsay.
Music is about enjoyment, entertainment, passion. There's no such thing as a classic... if you want her version listen to it, if you want Lindsay's listen to or go home.
this rocked | Reviewer: NINA | 8/31/07
i love this song. way better then stevie nicks version. but whatever its just an opion and its just a song so why are ppl getting all bent out of shape abt it? get over it
What the F***? | Reviewer: Marlene | 8/18/07
Are you kiddng me Lindsey should just stick to her Disney channel movies the only thing she was good for and stop messing with beautiful classics!!! what a shame!!!!
*Gag* | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/13/07
I'm seriously disappointed in today's youth. How can anyone listen to this and think it's anywhere near comparable to the original? Take a step back, open your mind, and listen to an artist perform. (READ: Artist = Nicks; PERFORMER??=Lohan) This is a trainwreck of a cover.
what is wrong with you people? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/8/07
i totallylike this version then stevie nicks, and these lyrics are right, according to lindsay lohan's song of egde of seventeen. but i you compare it to stevie nick's of course its different since lindsa's version is a remix. i cant believe how stupid people are these days. they dont even realise this is lindsay lohan's version and not stevie nick's. besdes, i think this version is waaaaaay better.
i love her | Reviewer: lukaslohan | 7/5/07

Are ya'll for real? | Reviewer: Samantha | 5/14/07
Hahahaha, are you people really gullible enough to believe whoever posted that?
I'm listening to the song right now, and they aren't even CLOSE. The song's not bad at all. (And the words "fuck", "shit", and "whore" aren't even in the song.)
Good lord, people.
I'm disgusted | Reviewer: Kitty Le Rue | 5/7/07
I cannot believe someone out there would do something so pathetic and disgusting as to change the lyrics to someting so damn vulgar! whoeve did this should be ashamed of themselves!
