I still remember the ways that you touched me
Now I know I don't mean anything to you
You're Easy Breezy and I'm Japanesey
Soon you'll mean exactly nothing to me
And that means...
You look stupid telling all your friends how you got the best of me
I intended to share the pleasure only
Now I look stupid
We're living in a world with a lot of pressure
It's quite unneeded to put more pressure on me
You came and went and left my house
Like a breeze just passing by
Hello, Goodbye
You left a note saying "Twas nice stopping by"
I shoud've never ever let you inside
I still remember the ways that you touched meNow I know I don't mean anything to youYou're Easy Breezy and I'm Japanesey
Soon you'll mean exactly nothing to me
Does that mean anything to you
Easy Breezy
Do you whistle to hide that you're feeling lonely
How do I breathe with all this pressure on me
Easy Breezy
When you wrestle, you know that you hurt somebody
How do I breathe with all this pressure on me
You came and went and left my house
Like a breeze just passing by
Konnichiwa, Sayonara
'Twas nice of you to stop by
Would it amuse you if I told you that I...
I still remember the ways that you touched me
Now I know I don't mean anything to you
You're Easy Breezy and I'm Japanesey
You're Easy Breezy and I'm Japanesey
She's got a new microphone
She's got a new microphone
(You're Easy Breezy and I'm Japanesey)
She's got a new microphone
She got
She got a new microphone

Review about Easy Breezy I am the real Japanese girl! | Reviewer: I'm real Japanesey! | 11/20/09
I know what exactly Utada is trying to say in this song.
"Japanesey" is not racist word at all. She just liked the sounds of "japaNESEY"and"eaSEy BrEASEY". This song is my favorite song of her and how I feel when I have relationships with foreigner men.

I read an interview from her before. It asked about this song. After reading it, I found out that this song doesn't need to be literally listened to (not saying don't listen to the actual song ok, I support her). It's just catchy and fun to sing, like all of her other songs (teiku 5, Hotel Lobby, Me Muero, etc.). Not at all is it meant to be racist or anything else. When i first heard the song the "I'm Japanesey" part did not startle me, I actually laughed b/c thought that it's like her to put something like that in a song lol. The "She's got a new microphone" part did catch my attention lol. But I did read in the interview that she did, however, get a new microphone... She bought it and was using to sing the song lol. I think she was very glad to get a new one. Gotta love Hikki, right?

uhh...I dont think this song is racist or anything....there is nothing wrong with saying "japanesey". or saying someone is "white". I mean....she is japanese. she doesnt say anything about hating someone of another race, or disrespecting any of them! Its just a song, and if it bothers you...you dont need to listen to it!

I don't think this is meant to be taken in a racist way.
I think she's just proud of her Japanese heritage and is saying she doesn't need that ONE white male anymore. It's racist to think that it's racist in the first place, it's deeper than skin in this song.
I think the "She's got a new microphone" bit is catchy. It might seem unrelated but you can interpret it as she's got a new microphone---she's ready to express herself through song that she "doesn't need you anymore".
xD Idk

This song is racist and gives a bad name to Japanese girls. Utada got kicked out of Columbia, and i can see why. She is just a rich girl dumb girl. Her mom gets caught with 400Gz cash? WTF... Probably supporting her daughters and her rich Japanese friends speed habits in NYC.

This is one of my favorites in her Exodus album. She's got tight lyrics! If you take her songs literally, you'll definitely think she has gone crazy, especially in this particular song. *lol* But try reading between the lines and you'll get what she's trying to say. ;)
This Is A Cool Song With A Good Meaning But I Think Its Stereo Typing ALL Males.
Thats Pretty Unfair... Or Maybe Shes Talking Bout An Ex Bf Or Something?
