I totally love this song. I honestly don't think it would be this livly and enjoyable if it weren't for Michael and Diana. They are great actors. The role of the scarecrow was perfect for Michael and I really wish he would have done more acting in his life. I'm in the production The Wiz and compared to the Dorothy and Scarecrow in our production Michael and Diana make them look sooo sad!!! We've been working on this production since February and they don't know the words to the song. I learned some of it being in a dance production called Ease On Down The Road and learned the whole thing before my second audition. I just can't sit still when I hear it!! Every time I do I get up and do that foot crossing move Michael does in the movie. I really love this song and I'm just 14!! I think younger kids should hear this song I know they would love it!!

ease on down the road is a good song. i think that it inspires people of most ages because, i know a group of kids that are leaning the song and they love it.you should see the enthusiasm in their faces when they sing the song.they sing the song with joy, ecstatiacally.i was extremly inpressed when i saw them singing the song.
