Sometimes when I'm all alone
I don't know if I can
Take another breath
Some say home is where the heart is
Tell me where my home is
'Cause i'm scared to death
Falling from the rooftop
Crashing like a raindrop
Can you make my heart stop
Shaking like a leaf
Standing at the floodgate
Steady as an earthquake
Can you hear my heart break
Tearing at the seams
I am drifting in the deep end
Holding on to your hand
Is all that saves me now
Life can treat you like a beggar
You hold me together
But I don't know how
Falling from the rooftop
Crashing like a raindrop
Can you make my heart stop
Shaking like a leaf
Standing at the floodgate
Steady as an earthquake
Can you hear my heart break
Tearing at the seams
Some say home is where the heart is
And my heart is in your hands
You are all I need
Rising from the ashes
Lifting from the madness
Now you see my heart is
Deep enough to dream
Heal me from the deathblow
Lead and I will follow
Now you feel my heart glow
Mending at the seams

Review about Drifting wow | Reviewer: I | 5/28/2008
This song is absolutely amazing, so deep and it really touches your heart. Even when you're falling, crashing and drowning, God will always be the same strong, powerful, loving saviour. You can rely on him to be there and if you're not strong enough to hold on he will carry you. He will lift you up and heal you. He's the only one who can.
I really like this song. I agree with the other person who reviewed this song. It has very powerful lyrics. It makes me think about a lot of stuff, like when it seems like everything in your life goes wrong, that God is always there to pick you up when you are at you lowest point of breaking down. I saw Bebo Norman in concert, and I really enjoyed it. He has a really powerful way of connecting to people. I would recommend this song to anybody. Even if you aren't a Christian, still give it a listen. You never know, you might like it. = )
Powerful . . . ***** out of ***** | Reviewer: starskipper101 | 9/3/2005
Bebo is such a talented musician; "Try", which this song is included on, was my first-ever Christian CD, and I was not disappointed. This song is amazingly powerful, and lets us listen to what is, in reality, just a peak of God's wonderful power and ability to take us into his hands, and heal us. Bebo wrote this himself, I think, and it discusses through the lyrics which are fed by an action-filled tune how you can be as down as you could be, beyond what you would think is the breaking point, but no matter how low you are, there is always hope-- there is always God. If you submit yourself, body, soul, mind- LIFE ALTOGETHER- you will be in his favor and he can heal you. Bebo is one Chirstian rock/pop-artist I know will disappoint very few throughout the country. He is skilled, talented, and has so much to say.
