Seems we listened to it so much that too many of us never took the time to see some of the other wonderful songs that McLean was also capable of. I first heard "Dreidel" years ago at the home of an acquaintance. I loved it and was totally surprised to learn that it was by Don McLean, on the same album as was "American Pie". I liked the song so much, that I went out and bought the CD, "American Pie - Greatest Hits" - not for "American Pie", but for "Dreidel". I hope that even as old as it is today, eventually it will get the attention it deserves. Is this review helpful to you?
