Since the formation through shouter Philipp Ohliger and gutarist Sebastian Lammel in autumn 2004, the once-was solo-project DOWNTIME evolved into a concerted combination of old-school- and melodic-deathmetal parts, modern hardcore and groovy thrashmetal, which stands out clearly from all stereotype trendmetal. After certain changes in line-up, the band became an undestroyable unit with new drummer Stefan Gröning and bass player Dennis Hirth. Soon the first EP "Dystopia" arose out of intransigent self-production; the general feedback even before release was amazing. In the upcoming year, Downtime will follow their yet growing tour dates and spread the world with "Dystopia". See you in the pit... |
