Beginning. Dover is formed. Madrid band that sings in
English. The Llanos sisters, Amparo and Cristina are the
band leaders. The name came from a clothes make for ladies
from her parent's boutique in Majadahonda (Madrid); Amparo
thought it sounded good and was easy to remember, so that
is their name.
Influences. Amparo taught Cristina to play guitar and
passed on her musical influences: Nirvana , R.E.M.,
Beatles... The close relationship between the two is
confirmed with the title of their first LP "Sister".
1995
SISTER. After a failed attempt to release a record with the
disappeared Madrid label Mojave, they signed up with
Everlasting- Caroline España, and in 1995 they
released their first album, 'Sister'. The sales results
