Review about Doomsday MY REVIEW... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/5/09 Atreyu to me is a band with focus like SOAD. I just recently was introduced to this album and I am very into it. I am reading these reviews and am surprised at some responses but I can fully understand how annoying it is when there is a band you've faithfully listened to when they were not famous for so many years and then someone hears them for the first time and freaks out and thinks it's brand new band then the band becomes commercial as HELL and tanks just like Metallica, Offspring, Pearl Jam, etc...So sad but so TRUE!!! I only know this one album of Atreyu but I am going to faithfully research them to obtain their earlier stuff because I REALLY want to hear it. Prodigy was GOOD in the beginning too, I didn't get a hold of them til they became commercial but I loved 'em. Just recently, I heard a song from them they created long before their break and it ROCKS! I HATE commercial BULLSHIT and whenever there is a good band, sincere, heartfelt, caring and PISSED about their PERSONAL FREEDOMS being taken away who want change who want to speak out get shut down and PUT TO REST. Then the record company goes on to create some piece of shit candy pop lickin" band out of them. I mean, obviously, how could a person NOT tell when P.O.D was rockin' BIG TIME and then their last album I very seriously thought I was listening to GAY music. GOD is GREAT and Believe me, he AGREES.
