I am 51 years old and still remember like it was yesterday, when we where 17, one of my closest freinds, Don Teaster, lost the use of his legs forever in an auto accident.
When he finally did get out of the hospital, we all chipped in and bought him a 1973 Ford Econoline Van. We had "Bad Company" airbrushed on the sides.
Then in 2004, I lost my youngest Son, at the age of 17, in an automobile accident, when the 16 year old drummer of one of his bands, lost control and slammed into a tree, less than a an eighth of a mile from home.
He lasted 3 weeks in Saint Francis Medical Center, in Cape Girardeau, MO.
And n"Shooting Star" was like it was written for my Son.
