The rhythm and the lyric will make the most conservative person get up and dance. I jog to this song each morning! What can you say about Steve Perry accompanying Kenny? In my opinion, he’s one of the greatest singers of all time. Whether he was out front with the group Journey or accompanying Kenny Loggins, Steve Perry is a world class balladeer!! Rock on guys! I first heard it at a musical review at Knott's Berry Farm in the early 1980s when I had just finished my college degree and was petrified about leaving my familiar blue-collar identity for my first "professional" job. The words of the chorus drilled into my psyche and helped me take that first step. I ran across the album two months back and nearly fainted from joy when the track started.
