Live long enough you're bound to find
Moonshine'll make a man go blind
Never can tell what the brew will do
But there's times you'll wind up feelin so fine
Some women seem to have a knack
They'll turn you on and leave you flat
Never can tell who's playin for keeps
So tell me now what's holding you back
I know your heart can take it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
It'll do your heart so good
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
It'll only do you good
Don't fight it'll do your heart so good
do what mama do
Do what daddy do
When you gonna make up your mind
You can run but love will find you
Ready or not here it comes
Some people when they hear a groove
Shake their heads cause they just can't approve
Well I turn up the music till it's shakin the sky
Is everybody ready to move
There's times you wanna shake yourself
There's nights you wanna yell for help
You can fly when you're standing still
N there's nothing wrong with raising some hell
Tonight we're gonna raise it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it'll do your heart so good
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it
Don't fight it

Review about Don't Fight It Rock on Kenny and Steve!! | Reviewer: Jonathan Thomas | 3/12/2008
This is one of Kenny's best songs. The rhythm and the lyric will make the most conservative person get up and dance. I jog to this song each morning! What can you say about Steve Perry accompanying Kenny? In my opinion, he’s one of the greatest singers of all time. Whether he was out front with the group Journey or accompanying Kenny Loggins, Steve Perry is a world class balladeer!! Rock on guys!
A career changing song | Reviewer: Vince | 4/8/2007
I love this song but didn't know it was Kenny's or any of the verse lyrics until recently. I first heard it at a musical review at Knott's Berry Farm in the early 1980s when I had just finished my college degree and was petrified about leaving my familiar blue-collar identity for my first "professional" job. The words of the chorus drilled into my psyche and helped me take that first step. I ran across the album two months back and nearly fainted from joy when the track started. It seems I haven't lost my identity after all.
Wow! Haven't heard this song in ages! | Reviewer: Kelli | 11/20/2005
This song is great! I heard it on the radio yesterday and I bet I haven't heard it in 20 years. I'd even forgotten the words! It was fun to hear it again!!
