Dir En Grey Lyrics

Prophet kyo
Guitar kaoru
Guitar Die
Bass Toshiya
Drums Shinya

Formed in 1997, with the sole purpose to spread the feeling
of hurt and sorrow caused by weakness, shallowness and
egoism of humanity.

Since then, their grotesque ways, their warped affection,
and their crazy live shows took the independent record
scene by a storm, putting them on the very top.

In 1999, their fame caught the attention of then CEO of
East West Japan. Thus signing them to a major record label.
They debuted releasing 3 singles at once, very rare for a More...

Learning this at school with friends for a concert and we found that either way you perform the lyrics it still sounds pretty much the same. Haha it's funny how lyrics can do that. i tip my hat to you Kyo and Kisun :]

this was the fist song I've heard from DirEnGrey.... I fell in love with it momentarily, even though I hadn't got a clue what were lyrics about... I would like them to make the English version of this song....

''What's the hell?'' your retarded so you cant even hear the English..
also i don't think you've heard A Lot of Japanese, because a lot of them sing in English, and if you did then you'd know, that they're pronunciation is terrible.
great song btw ;D

Can't get enough Dir En Grey. Kyo's singing is so amazing in this song, truly awesome. As for the lyrics though, I'm not too sure, but I guess that's another reason why I like Dir En Grey; I don't even have to understand the language to enjoy the music :D

I've just read an essay on the band in Hammer magazine,so I decided I'd check them out.Unlike all the Japanese songs I heared in my life (and trust me they're many) this song is totally random and I really can't hear the vaocalist pronounce one right English word.

I mean if the guy can't even speak English, why does he sing in English?..Make Japanese lyrics,so you can read them right,"morron"...eew.

i only heard of dir en grey a couple of months ago but already they have proved themselves to me, a stunning band.i love the singers insane vocal range, and the music videos are awesome. they are somewhat different from the usual northern death metal i usually listen to, but their uniqe style has me hooked. if someone asked me to suggest some of their best songs i'd say: the final, kodou and dozing green.

I love this band. It's my favorite. The first song i ever listened to them was Aoi Tsuki... And to whomever said
they are pretty amazing but i dont know wat the fuck people are talking about when they say that they are sooo hardcore fucking dumb american emos
u guys should look at B'z, asian kung fu generation, GazettE
these guys are so much better!!!
You obviously don't look at the song translations or to even more than a few songs. Those people are alright GazettE is the best from them and close to Dir En Grey; but obviously does not surpass it. And there are many bands that outperform the ones you mentioned (maybe not GazettE..) If you don't like it that much then don't come to sites like this. "Fucking dumb american emos?" Get a life. Seriously. (And get a thesaurus [Expand!])
Ignorant narrow-minded racist fuck. PWNED! AHAHAHAHAHA. And just because we listen to music like this, does not make us emo. Some people are but clearly not the whole american population. And I quote, "Get a life." Rather than waste your time here. Bye bye!

Kodou is Pain! | Reviewer: Rarirureiro
------ About the song Kodou performed by Dir En Grey

This song is definitelly amazing! I daresay the best on Withering to Death. It begins slowly for the first seconds then the hard guitar comes and u think to yourself hell yeah this is great. The lyrics are immortal... It's so painfully truthful. And the clip shows things you immediatelly recognise. The best part comes when the scream echoes - twice... is just genious. One of the best songs ever performed! Excellent job!
