Demon Hunter Lyrics

Ethan Luck: Lead Guitar

In art, music, and life, from the most crucial to the most
mundane, three truly is a magic number. From the Holy
Trinity to the commonly uttered phrase, "the third time is
the charm." From "Master Of Puppets" to "Master Of
Reality."

Demon Hunter is proud to carry on that tradition with "The
Triptych," the explosive followup to "Summer Of Darkness"
and the most important heavy album of the fall.

------ About the song Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck performed by Demon Hunter

Personally, I agree somewhat with Reviewer "C"
Snap your fingers, You snap your neck, I believe that means mostly that if you snap your fingers (Treating someone unjustly (if that's even a word)you'll end up killing yourself in the process) you snap you neck, The good life is basicly the American Dream like "C" Said. That's just my opinion!

------ About the song The Tide Began To Rise performed by Demon Hunter

I wish I'd found this album years ago. I've had Storm the Gates of Hell and The World is a Thorn for a long time now, but I only just found this album, and this song has quickly become one of my favorite Demon Hunter songs.

Wait, were people whining and arguing about religion here? Lol. Shut the f*** up and just listen to the music.

------ About the song The Science Of Lies performed by Demon Hunter

I believe in the first few lines Demon Hunter is commenting on the fact that we all selfishly serve money, Five dollar movies, thirty dollar cell phone plans, and no one to care about the starving children above their own fun. The rest of the song I believe is referring to Atheism and the lie that it is. I love demon hunter and I believe that their songs are theologically deeper than any other band I have ever heard.

Also, Demon Hunter's song tend to be VERY sarcastic, like "Believe the Sacred Blasphemy" is a sarcastic remark degrading Atheism. People who listen little to the band most likely do not know this pattern.

------ About the song Blood In The Tears performed by Demon Hunter

This song is about betrayed love..
like a girl who feel for the singers "enemy"
and he fought back "killing" the enemy and the girl cried for him (the enemy)
highly metaphorical of course
Instrumentals bring bout feelings of dread sadness brought on by the betrayal of pure love.

Shut up. | Reviewer: Katelynd

For all of you so called "Christians", if you really were Christians you wouldn't judgejudge & be judged right? I use to be religious until I realized how much trouble it causes. & all you Christians want to do us judge other people. How about you all just shut up & enjoy the music. The end.

thanks for "respecting" everyone's beliefs! | Reviewer: nick

WOW! to the very first comment!...If that's what you consider "respecting other's beliefs", I feel bad for you. But you're not alone, as a Christian, I am constantly verbally beat down by someone saying the same thing, that I need to respect other's beliefs!!! and keep my $@#@#$@# opinions to myself. Well, if you can't pick on the irony by now, may whatever you believe in, help you. God Bless!!!....and thanks again, for all the respect you've shown to other's beliefs!!!

------ About the song Relentless Intolerance performed by Demon Hunter

I wanted to write a review for this song, but everyone on here explained it perfectly. Except Christina Johnson, I think you need to get your act together and open your eyes.

Olivia and nick, I was listening the song while reading your reviews and got heavy goosebumps all over.

------ About the song Not Ready To Die performed by Demon Hunter

I have a few points to make, then I'm done...
1.) One of you said "god is just a figure that we pretend to live upto, your "prayers" never get answered until who goes and does something about it? You. If you think about it, we are just making ourselves believe in something that physically has no proof" Let me just say that I don't think he truly is a Christian, may be wrong and misinterperting, but that is what I see.Umm... What about my best friend who's dad had cancer and we thought he was toast. Then out of the blue after a group of church members prayed over him, the cancer just vanished and he hasn't had any more problems with it? I know not all are healed from cancer, my aunt died from it, but it is God's choice about who lives and who dies. I know it stinks from our point of view, but God loved the world enough to die for it. You want physical proof for the reserection, I can't find any better proof than the reserection. However, if you don't believe that, here is my testimony.I have dextrocardia synus inversus, basically, my heart is on the right side of my chest (pratically in my shoulder)and flipped 180 degrees backwards. Ultra rare, and on top of that, less than 1% of the people this phenomena occurs to survive from it (they bleed out prior to birth because the vaulves to their heart don't connect up properly). Now, you are going to tell me that the big bang occured with no catalyst (which goes against all actions have a equal and opposite reaction), the time and space formed on their own,the stars formed, our planet came into a perfect position in which it is not too hot or cold for life to survive, the planet Jupiter came into it's perfect allignment whose gravitational pull protects us from being anniahlated by space debris, Earth formed an atmosphere, water came to Earth, life sprang up, AND I BEAT THAT LESS THAN 1% CHANCE FOR SURVIVAL?! SERIOUSLY?! Out of all of these, my percentage was the highest, yet all of this happened without a intellegent God? There is more logic in my arguement than yours.
2.)One of you said "**** off Christians" and I find this very stupid. Here's some logic, I don't go to gay-straight alliance meetings because I know that they will be talking about accepting homosexuality as a norm (which I disagree with). Now, you come to a page with the lyrics to a Christian song... and expect Christians not to post about how much they love God and how he has changed their life? That's like if I went to a that gay-straight alliance club and was like "shut up! Nobody wants to listen to your gay crap!" See the logic? A word of advice, stop comming to Christian songs forums if you don't want to hear what we are saying!

If I seem hateful, please don't take it that way because emotions are sometimes lost in text. I mearly speak in this tone because I feel passionatly about this subject, not because I am being hateful.
-God Bless

------ About the song The Science Of Lies performed by Demon Hunter

"Give me blood-soaked, sacrificial worth"
Referring to how Jesus (God) died for us. Something bigger and higher than anything else we've made up.
"Not the artificial product of a fraudulent birth"
People tend to twist the nativity story into something artificial, leaving out God and making Jesus just another ordinary birth. But they forget, he was born of a virgin. Without divine intervention, that's obviously impossible. Fraudulent.

That specific line can be twisted around very easily, Demon Hunter probably should have done something about it.
