I remember when.... | Reviewer: | 2/18/11

Back in the late 50's and in accordance with Mr. Reeves bio, played a show with The Chester Smith Band at the El Dorado Co. Fairgrounds, Cal.
My mom was President of Chester Smith's Fan Club around that time, so we went. It's fair, at this time, to mention that Elvis was becoming quite
the influence in music and young musicians. Chester introduced "Curly" Reeves, some of the women/girls voiced their approval at his appearance.
They played a few up-beat songs to which Mr. Reeves kinda wiggled and giggled around some, much to the disapproval of the men folks. Well, we didn't stay very long after that, as per my Dad....

Chester Smith was also a disc-jockey for KTRB Radio, Modesto, Cal.
I will forever be grateful for my Country-Western upbringin'...
