------ About the album Stormbringer performed by Deep Purple

This is one of the FEW albums by ANYONE to which I LOVE EVERY track
on it. It seems to me to be a studio with the energy of a live
performance at the peak of the artist life and career.
In 1985 a friend listened to the album for the first time at my place, 2 weeks later he came back and begged me to accept $100 for my spare copy of the album because he could not otherwise locate a
copy for himself. I was 15 and he was 18 at the time. I still listen to it regularly.

------ About the album Made in Japan performed by Deep Purple

I KNEW FELLOW H.S. FRIENDS WHO SAW DP AT THE BUDOKAN ON THIS DP TOUR. IF U LOOKED HARD ENOUGH BET YOU CAN SEE THEM ON THE LP COVER ISSUED IN JAPAN AS THEY HAD FRONT ROW SEATS. PERSONALLY,I MISSED IT BUT SAW THEM LATER IN '73 AT BUDOKAN. YES THIS ALBUM IS UNBELIEVABLE AS A LIVE PERFORMANCE BUT AS EVEN IAN PAICE STATED IN AN INTERVIEW I THINK YOU CAN CALL IT A FLUKE. ALSO I BELIEVE JON LORD/RIP SAID THEY WERE AT THEIR HEIGHT OF MUSICIAN SHIP AND COHESION. NEVERTHELESS YOU CAN'T TAKE AWAY THE FACT THEY PULLED OFF SUCH AMAZING PERFORMANCE; ONLY TALENT WILL ACCOMPLISH IT.

------ About the album Machine Head performed by Deep Purple

lazy...highway star...s o t w...classic keyboards with blues/riff rock stratocaster. outstanding singing/screaming drum fills. the bass on the cover is a fender...the bass player used a rickenbacker to record
