You think a girl would’ve been it, not to be rude, I’m a woman myself it’s just that you don’t see too many guys that are like that. I mean really…what guy calls himself cute let alone anyone calling themselves cute in public. I mean really, keep it to yourself at least. I love this song. I can relate to it completely. I love songs that put your own feelings into words. I am a girl, but I see it from the guy's point of view. All of the girls commenting saying they hate how heartless guys are, they don't realize some girls are that way too. To me this song means that the guy dated the girl because she was beautiful and he was sexually attracted to her. He wanted to love her, but you can't force love. Even though she loved him he couldn't love her back because he just didn't feel anything for her and regrets leading her on. This is exactly how I feel with my current boyfriend. I dated him because I was attracted to him sexually. I think he is a great guy and all but I just don't love him. And the saddest part is that he loves me. Very much. I know I should tell him but I know it would break his heart to know that I don't love him.
