Remembering Sunday Lyrics
Artist(Band):All Time Low
He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Starting making his way past 2 in the morning
He hasn't been sober for days
Leaning now into the breeze
Remembering Sunday, he falls to his knees
They had breakfast together
But two eggs don't last
Like the feeling of what he needs
Now this place seems familiar to him
She pulled on his hand with a devilish grin
She led him upstairs, she led him upstairs
Left him dying to get in
Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother,
But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me
Even though she doesn't believe in love,
He's determined to call her bluff
Who could deny these butterflies?
They're filling his gut
Waking the neighbors, unfamiliar faces
He pleads though he tries
But he's only denied
Now he's dying to get inside
Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother,
But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me
The neighbors said she moved away
Funny how it rained all day
I didn't think much of it then
But it's starting to all make sense
Oh, I can see now that all of these clouds
Are following me in my desperate endeavor
To find my whoever, where ever she may be
[Juliet Simms:]
I'm not coming back (forgive me)
I've done something so terrible
I'm terrified to speak (I'm not calling, I'm not calling)
But you'd expect that from me
I'm mixed up, I'll be blunt, now the rain is just (You're driving me crazy, I'm)
Washing you out of my hair and out of my mind
Keeping an eye on the world,
From so many thousands of feet off the ground, I'm over you now
I'm at home in the clouds, and towering over your head
[Alex Gaskarth:]
"Well I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home"

Review about Remembering Sunday
the last part.. | Reviewer: Jesse | 9/15/2008im thinkin the last part where it talks about "the rain following him to find his someone who ever it may be" its her watching him crying (hence the rain) and she is sad because she is watching him try to find someone else when she wishes she was the one that was with him.

i love this song. it's my fav. the lyrics and beat blend wonderfully . well anyways the song means:
"He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Starting making his way past 2 in the morning
He hasn't been sober for days"
obviously he's very sad and hasn't been sleeping right, trying to take away pain by drinking.
"Leaning now into the breeze
Remembering Sunday, he falls to his knees
They had breakfast together
But two eggs don't last
Like the feeling of what he needs"
the first two lines are saying that he's remembering this day that was sad. tthen they had breakfast on that day, but she is now gone. you see his love for her was so great. that he needed her and felt that it was forever.
"Now this place seems familiar to him
She pulled on his hand with a devilish grin
She led him upstairs, she led him upstairs
Left him dying to get in"
he's remembering having sex with her. which he loved because he loved her. (sorry for my bluntness).
"Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother,
But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me"
she disapears and he is trying so hard to find her and doesn't think she left by will. he relizes exactly how much he loves her and wants to marry her.
"Even though she doesn't believe in love,
He's determined to call her bluff
Who could deny these butterflies?
They're filling his gut"
this part reeals more about why she left saying that he loved her more. that she couldn't exactly fathom their love. he wants to prove her wrong, he's saying that he just knows that it's love. he can feel it.
"Waking the neighbors, unfamiliar faces
He pleads though he tries
But he's only denied
Now he's dying to get inside"
he is searching for her, calling everywhere, but he can't find her. it's pretty much eating him up inside because she was the one for him.
"The neighbors said she moved away
Funny how it rained all day
I didn't think much of it then
But it's starting to all make sense
Oh, I can see now that all of these clouds
Are following me in my desperate endeavor
To find my whoever, where ever she may be"
nobody knows where she is, they think she just moved away. he finds it ironic that the day is so horrible and it gets all dreary and rains. he implys that even god is trying to help him.
"I'm not coming back (forgive me)
I've done something so terrible
I'm terrified to speak (I'm not calling, I'm not calling)
But you'd expect that from me
I'm mixed up, I'll be blunt, now the rain is just (You're driving me crazy, I'm)
Washing you out of my hair and out of my mind
Keeping an eye on the world,
From so many thousands of feet off the ground, I'm over you now
I'm at home in the clouds, and towering over your head"
then the girl says that she's not coming back. in other words she died. then she says that she did something terrible which i think means she killed herself. she couldn't even tell him why, but that is how he knew her as this girl who was incapable of loving because of being hurt.she can't even think about him she is so ashamed. she says that she is watching him from heaven. i think she is happier now, she still is going to keep an eye on him and will remember him. because she does still love him and that she was mistaken to think she doesn't deserve him. i think she regreted killing herself.
"Well I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home"
the guy figures out she killed herself and that there is nothing he can do now. he is going home where the first part happens of him remembering sunday.
it is a very sad song. i like it though. well that's what i think the song means.
Amazing as it seems. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/20/2008
I cannot believe how perfect this song is. It's absolutely perfect and if this were the last song I heard I'd die a very happy woman.
Love All Time Low.
Juliet Simms is so amazing for her role in this song.

ALEX GASKARTH IS MY HERO FOR WRITING THIS SONG!! seriously.. these are the best lyrics i have ever heard, and they work so geniously with the song. and i LOVE the juliet simms part! especially where she says "the rain is just" and the background voice says (you're driving me crazy, i'm) washing you out of my hair... it's SO cool how it overlaps!!
