paper. It was responded to by non other than Jello Biafra
(Eric Boucher), who was seeking a job and wanted to be the
vocalist for the band.

They were soon joined by bassist Klaus Flouride, drummer
Bruce Slesinger, and another guitarist known as 6025. He
left in March of '79 More...

A great reworking by a band that always delivers the agitprop goods. It's incredibly funny yet it makes it's point loud and clear. The assasination of Mayor Moscone and the great Harvey Milk was absolutely tragic, eclipsed in tragedy by what might as well have been an acquittal of guilt for Dan White. This song finds a way to not only capture that injustice but get a laugh from it, which is a good thing.

this is a great song....they show their inconformity for fake punks and fake anarchists..... people think its a trend or something, some punks think that the more they buy into the style then the more anarchist or comunist they are....when alot of them dont even know what real anarchism or comunism is...most of them dont ever read or anything..... stupid punks, now days most of them are just a trend, few know what its all about and truly believe in anarchy or comunism and live it by heart..... i like this song, the dead kennedys are real punks..... and most of the times, the real anarchists are normal people that are read about anarchy and anarchist authors etc...... now days most self considered anarchists in the punk comunity world wide dont even really know what its about.....and thats a bad thing because they are giving it a bad name with their stupid stuff.....and also the song shows inconformity against punks that believe are anarchists but buy into capitalism....capitalism is so big, they even comercialize anti-capitalism forms, like anarchy and comunism....and the worst of all, is that stupid teenagers that just want to be cool and feel bad buy into the stupid capitalist game...... MOST REAL ANARCHISTS arent even punks.

"George and Harvey" are the mayor of San Francisco and Harvey Milk, the first openly-gay man elected to major public office in America. Dan White assasinated both of them. He was charged with a lesser crime of man slaughter because his defense had said his mental state was impaired due to eating junk food, which was called "The Twinkie Defense."
