Love the Hoff, love the song! The video is so cheesy its great. Need more songs like this. Don't mean to upset people but it's not KITT in the video, its a right hand drive (meaning UK car) and KITT was a left hand drive. Perhaps he's just had a conversion :P

I play/sing in a 70s Glam Rock cover band and we DO this song! The ORIGINAL version ala Ted Mulry (may he RIP)

Hasslehoff murdered this Aussie classic & I'm sure Teddy is spinning in his grave from hearing this.

Ok, Vanda & Young did a bang up job on the music,(as they did back in '74) updating it and making it a tad rockier (as we have done) but David Hasslehoff? PLEASE! Do the right thing to HONOUR 1 of Oz rocks true gentlemen, Ted Mulry, (& also another gentleman, my late cousin, Graeme 'Shirley' Strachan) and get an aussie LEGEND to cover this! Say Jim Barnes, Jon Stevens or even Doc Neeson to have a go at it!

Seriously people take a chill pill, I think this video was meant to be funny. I find the part where he is dressed in his Baywatch stuff quite funny. And the song is pretty catchy, I saw this video a couple years ago and for some reason just thought of it and was trying to remember how it went so that's why I googled it. Oh and the dance moves were so HOT lol! Just watch it with a sense of humor

That was the longest, most agonizing three minutes of my life!! If given the choice between watching this video again and having an unanesthitized root canal, I would chose the root canal every time.(Or an enema) The only way I would ever "jump in his car" would be to remove his larynx with a fondue fork and shove his testicles up his ass then punch him in the face. I didn't realize it was possible to carry so much apathy and hatred for someone until I saw this. I honestly believe that my life is over and I will have to resort to running full speed in front of a speeding bus.
