I would like to preface this comment by saying that i am a huge David Crowder fan and like most of his music. However, as catchy as this song is, it makes me uncomfortable to sing and i do not believe it is theologically sound. At the end of the chorus he states "What does that make me?" implying that he is glorious as well. The word glory means to reflect the presence of a being (for us that being would be Yahweh) and while this is what we are called to do, i do not believe that this is what we actually do as humans. We are sinful beings and we do not reflect the Glory of God, only Jesus did that. "And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power." -Hebrews 1:3

This song is amazingly annointed, its from God, David Crowder is originally not American so he doesn't know every single grammar rule ever. Hes writing these songs to worship God, and singing Lalalallllalalala can be a song of your testimony. If u say this is stupid then you really need to study the Bible. Read about how much David danced. Read about how some people acted and said when they felt God. And if you don't like the song then don't look up the lyrics, and don't listen to the song. I just pray yall see the truth in it all, but nonetheless thank you David Crowder!! You're a blessing!!

This song displays Gods grace. Grace that even though we are filthy sinners and deserve flames He not only calls us to repentance but also forgives us for being so wicked at heart. Also the sense of conviction in the bridge displays Gods grace further in that we are mere sinners and so undeserving of Gods love and sometimes it seems just so impossible that we could be loved so much. Not that it is impossible, that's just how one would feel when he feels convicted of his own sin and recognizes how graceful God really is...

I love this song. I am listening to it while in the library and just feel like standing up and shouting the words out. I am glad God uses simple words and his children to produce something so beuatiful and spirit-filled to the Glory and honor of his name. Love him (GOD) even unto death. :)

Today I learned that my child, who is 12 weeks along, will not be joining us on this planet, as it's brain and skull are not properly developing. Learning that your child will not live is something no father should ever have to hear.

This song wraps up every emotion I've felt today. Thank you for posting the lyrics. They are helping me realize the beauty of God in such a terrible time in my life.

I am actually a theology and religious education professor at a seminary college and although Allysa is correct in her theology I dont believe that it was at all necessary to even break down the song, The Holy Spirit comes through music and lyrics to some people do you ever think that the person (other than yourself) really breaks down the words when the Holy Spirit comes to touch his/her hearts? I have to think that your over analyzing the meaning of the song is something you completely missed. Our jobs as Christians is to plant the seed and then get out of the Holy Spirits way.....
