Dan Black (born November 16, 1986) is a British wonky pop
artist. He was originally a member of alternative rock band
The Servant before their 2007 split, and he is also known
as a guest vocalist for the Italian group Planet Funk. He
is currently signed to The:Hours, releasing his first two
singles – "Alone" and "Yours" – in 2008. His breakthrough
song was "HYPNTZ", with the lyrics inspired by and in
response to Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize" and using a drum
sample from Apple GarageBand's Vintage Funk Kit 03, the
