This is a great song but its about his life on the road and being away from the one(s) that he loves, but regardless of how he feels about it, thats just his life. the chorus is something everyone can relate to and is part of the reason why this song is so amazing, but people, he isnt complaining about losing a girl or being heartbroken he accepts life for what it is and is unsure of what will become of his life when he returns home. accepting life for what it is should be a bigger message than "i was in delaware once now its me and my boyfriends song!" . . . just sayin
