Proof? Collosians 1:15 (NIV) says "We are the image of the invisible God." With the conspicuous exception of the word "God," the concept, title, and tagline of the song are directly lifted from a Bible verse. And that's coming from a a died-in-the-wool atheist. Get over it. You can believe in no god what so ever and make christian music. I've heard a lot of speculations about the subject of the song, most people say it has to do with prisioners of major wars/genocides. Kind of like Germany in WWII and other foreign wars. I'm not saying religion isn't beautiful, or mystical or any of that crap -is Agnostic Roman Catholic as is most of his father's and mother's side- its just I'm tired of people trying to give every single thing a root in religion.
