Radiohead Cuttooth Lyrics

Last updated: 04/27/2011 11:00:00 AM

I will leave the wall paper life,
and run away to the foreign legion...
I will leave the wall paper life,
and run away to the foreign legion...

And as the tanks roll into town..
As the tanks roll into town..

A little bit of knowledge will destroy you..
A little bit of knowledge will destroy you..

And as the tanks roll into town..
As the tanks roll into town..

A little bit of knowledge will destroy you..
A little bit of knowledge will destroy you..

I don't know why I feel so tounge-tied;
I don't know why I feel so skinned alive.

Run until your lungs are sore,
until you cannot feel it anymore.
Run until your lungs are sore,
until you find an open door.

I'll build you up to pull you down.
Tie you to your feet and watch you drown.
A little bit of knowldge will destroy you...
A little bit of knowledge will destroy you
I'll build you up to pull you down.
Tie you to the stake and watch you burn in Hell,
In Hell...
I don't know why I feel so tounge-tied
I don't know why I feel so skinned alive

WoahOhhhOhhhhh

I'll find another skin to wear.
I'll find another skin to wear.

Simple, but ohhh so good! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/13/09

This song completely dodged the radar, but has always been a favorite of mine. The pulsating rhythm and superb lyrics take your mind on a journey.

Supposedly, the song was to be on the main LP, but their fiddling sessions soured their love for the song and it ended up in the "extras" pile of material.

To the best of my knowledge, they have never played this live. I hope to hear it live one day, but doubt that will happen... at least they released it, right?

Radiohead = Coldplay + Lyrical Genius + Amazing Compositions And Guitar Riffs + An Ability To Push The Envelope.. | Reviewer: Hugh Jass | 4/14/07

Such and eloquent review.. and then one leaps into an opinion stated quite colloquially.. but yes.. this piece is quite cathartic.. and the lyrics if one looks over and digests them carefully.. it opens up a whole world of revelations.. Radiohead is a fuckin' brilliant band and revolutionary to say the least.. In my humble opinion.. they are the best band of all time..

If Radioheads B-sides are this good... | Reviewer: m class | 11/11/05

The song has almost no structure, and is simply a set of lyrics over a hypnotic piano, about 3 chords and various sound effects. The result is a swirling, trippy and cathartic piece, a tapestry of genius interwoven with unparalleled innovation. Radiohead are truly the band of this era. Coldplay suck balls.
