The band was created in 2007 when singer Nathan was living in New York City and had a creative spark. Initially the band was formed just to record a few songs and be a creative outlet but the project quickly grew in to something more. Over the next couple of years songs were written and demos were made but nothing was released because a full band lineup was not concrete. During this time discussions were had about doing a Nounhole show and the band started practicing weekly. After having Eric (The Architect Sound) on guitar for the Nounhole show one day at practice it was decided that the band should just focus on new material. At that point the lineup was cemented in 2010.
The band began working on a 5 song demo album which was recorded and a couple of songs released on the band’s SoundCloud page. During 2010 and 2011 a couple of the members moved on to other projects opening up spots for other members. Wil (The Architect Sound) joined the band as the drummer and writing continued in 2011. In 2012 recording began on the band’s debut album The Divide which was released in the first part of 2013. Also in the first part of 2013 Jason from (schwa)ray joined the lineup.
The band is currently made up of former members of the band Nounhole, The Architect Sound, and (schwa)ray.
