The lyrics is so powerful that i cant get tired of listening to it. Every time i played it, i closed my eyes and feel the presence of our Lord. I was a senior in high school, ready to get out. I was the field commander of our Marching band. Life was going really well at the beginning of the school year. I helped lead several people to the Lord. And then my church started to split because of things my pastors had done. I drifted away from church because I didnt think God would let something like that happen in a church. But as I drifted a group of people kind of twisted my brain to make me think I was gay. I went with it because I felt accepted in a time of trouble and confusion. I pulled myself away from almost all of my values. I lost friends. I lost myself. Finally I told myself that I was not going to let that be anymore. I was not going to lie a lie to myself and all of my true friends. I came back to God with the help God and this song. And like it says I came home running. I have been completely washed of my stupidity and now I fell God working so much in my life again. It feels so great. Thank You GOD!!!! It touched me so deeply because I have worked with hurting people for over 30 years of my life and I know this is what those of us who truly love the Lord and wish to be His hand extended want everyone to know and understand - that we ALL fail at times, but He is ALWAYS there waiting for us to return - and not just to return, but to COME HOME RUNNING!
