I love Collin Raye and all of his songs, but this would have to be one of my favorites. The line 'ain't nothin' your arms around me tight can't turn around and make alright" reminds me so much of how I feel when I am with my boyfriend. Cause when I am in his arms, no matter how bad my day was he can always make the horrible disappear, and put happiness in its place. His arms are where I run to, cause there really ain't nothin' a little love can't cure.

Patrice (Princess Patty) suffered a massive heart attack and was taken from us suddenly in the very early morning hours of Sunday 19 February, 2012. The lyrics mean more to me now than they did when I first heard them. I know she's there now, waiting for me, and when it comes my time to leave, she'll have her hand out stretched, welcoming me home.

I was diagnosed with cancer in May, 2009. Patty kept me going, giving me the strength, courage and will to fight. I won my battle. She lost hers. Now, it's she who is there waiting there for me.

As it so well put.. I'll be there when my chores are through... I don't know how long I'll be, but until then, when we meet again... It's me loving you.. Love Me..

My husband is currently going through his AIT courses and is supposed to go overseas. I'm not going to BCT until September. I dedicate this song to him because as soon as I finish BCT and AIT I am deploying with him. I'm going to keep on loving him no matter how long it takes to be together again.

I lost my husband, Tom to cancer last year. When he was in the hospital he said,"I'm gonna get there before you do and I will wait for you."
He loved this song.
We first dated in 1961. I was too young to realize how right he was for me, and I married someone else a few years later and so did he. In 1991, both divorced we found each other again. We married in 1998, and in 2003 he was diagnosed with cancer and died in 2007. He will forever be in my heart. I miss him so very much. I love this song so very much.

This song is so much like my parents. My father carred for my mom who is delaing with vascualr dementia now. I was thinking of this song as my mom and six of the seven kids said goodbye to uour father. She bent over and told him she would see him soon. Dad and Mom demonstrated what unconditional love was all about. I listen to this song alot thing of both of them and the values they had taught me.

This is such a beautiful song. It has given me such comfort over the past 5 years. My grandma was and is my favorite person in this world. She passed away July 02. I didnt want to let her go and at times struggle with the idea. She was an amazing woman, strong, loving, generous, kind, caring and my hero. Every now and again I will be driving my car and thinking of her, I put in the cd and I am calmed. Thank you Collin

I cried buckets when I heard this song. It reminds me so much of my grandparents. Through a misunderstanding, they almost didn't get married. They just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Their life and this song reminds me that true love never dies, sometimes it's just delayed for a while.
