This album molded me for my better days when it was released | Reviewer: Maui Anne | 1/13/13

When X and Y was released circa 2004-2005 with some leaks of songs here and there, I went through a terrible loss of a family member. I was only 12 at the time and couldn't understand the gravity of death until my grandfather had passed. Having trying to attempt suicide myself only a few times, death had never been that serious and honest to me until then. I listened to Coldplay back in 2001, and "Clocks" really set me off to "A Rush of Blood to the Head", and couldn't wait to get X&Y. As soon as I got it, I listened to it both before and after his death. It helped me get through a lot of depression, despite many saying that Coldplay can induce it, that wasn't the case for me. Highly recommend any day, they always have a song for your mood.

X & Y The best Album for me | Reviewer: GUL | 10/21/11

I've been listening to this album since release, I loved Parachutes, not too keen on AROBTTH (sorry I know everyone likes it but I don't) and it still sounds as good as the first time. Square One sets the album off perfectly, this and Radiohead's OK Computer are my best albums of all time

Absolutly amazing! | Reviewer: Daniel | 6/12/07

I have just bought this album after getting so excited over Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood To The Head and I must say X&Y tops them all! It's truly joyful, so good!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/22/05

wot an album!!! still in ma CD player an i have had it for 4 months ish now. starting at "square one" the rich sounds progress to amazing songs that must be heared. for best effects play at loudest volume possible driving home from school (or work). what can i say? not only the album of the year, but the album of my life so far....

....lights will guide you home............. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/8/05

The best album. All the songs are great! Words cannot say what I felt when I listened the album. You made my summer! Regards from Montenegro!

Good Job | Reviewer: Kim Marsha;; | 6/8/05

I think this is the best ever album for Coldplay, I think it is really good, its great. The songs are different in different way they really have done it this time!

More of The Same | Reviewer: Bryan Powers | 6/3/05

More of the same. But that's not a bad thing now is it? If what your getting more of is good to begin with, it is a good thing.

Perhaps the most anticipated album in years, Coldplay's X & Y does not dissapoint while it doesn't exactly overwhelm either. They've played it safe and well, you can't blame them can you? I would love to hear some of the previous versions of the album that were scrapped just to see where the band was trying to go before landing on safe ground.

4 out of 5 stars.

˝You and me are floating on a tidal wave… together˝ | Reviewer: urban.red.grl.croatia | 6/2/05

the album is ameazing. I'm a huge fan ever since Parachutes. the more u listen to it the more u like it. I also think that Chris has the most sexiest voice. my favorites are fix you, swallowed in the sea ¨You belong with me, not swallowed in the sea˝, square one, talk and twisted logic.
It's going to be a long and sunny summer...
