Sweet song about the limit between being rich or poor. The girl telling the story is rich in love, but not in money, and she is obviously happy. I like the way she tells the other children what the coat means to her.
"and I told them all the love my mama sewed in every stich." The song tells us that the thought behind a thing may be more important than the thing itself.
