Hate him, like him, whatever, he's still around doing the same schtick after all these years, obviously he's doing something right.

You know, parodies can be fun. But this? This is just lame. It's like a grade school kid's attempt at a rebuttal. It's got whiny butthurt plastered all over it. "He said this, oh yeah?? so i'll say that!". Wtf. Chill the fuck out bitch, and leave the lyrics to people with actual talent. Ellis who, lol? She doesn't even have a wiki entry after all these years, LMFAO!!!!

Normally, I don't rate mainstream songs. Hey, they are mainstream, right? Aren't they meant to be simply mindless beats thrown together in an addicting way? I love and listen to mainstream artists (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera and the like), but I would NEVER rate or take seriously the fun, upbeat Katy Perry West Coast anthem "California Gurls". The meaning is well..,***, drinking, and lollipop babes on a Californian coast. And I doubt you want a review of that stuff. (Hey, I'm assuming educated individuals ;))

Anyway, this song is amazing because Aguiliera BREAKS OUT of the norm. The beat...not much OF a beat. It's jazz and blues with a light touch of pop! Wow! (Okay "Last Friday Night" does NOT count. That's POP jazz!) Very fun with the message (won't bother to review it. All she's dishing out is lyrics about a potential *** partner for the night.) and the musicianship is EXCELLENT. Hum it all day, and it actually could even be listened to by real jazz musicians.

Aguiliera crafted a hit POP single that wasn't only pop. The gal has a pretty voice, spunk, and creativity to top it all off. "Come On Over Baby" is NOT your average #1 Billboard single which it became, and of course, Xtina's bringing back the jazz and blues. What's not to love? A promiscuolously fun message, creative old jazz tunes, and a fresh light touch of pop? What a breath of fresh air!

Okay, I know I'm overexaggerating this, but after listening to Rihanna (Don't get me wrong. She is a beautiful artist whose songs I MOSTLY adore) 's TRULY terrible "S&M", your standards go wayyyy down! Seriously! The message I don't care about, but the tune and her musicianship (aka her voice for the non-professionals) is HORRIBLE! Don't know what she did, but I'll stick to humming "What's My Name" by her!

Summary: Without my random idiotic side talk, get the single "Come On Over Baby". Beautiful chart topper which broke the norm and shines old 1960s jazz.
