Singer-songwriter and former rodeo champion Chris LeDoux
died Wednesday (March 9) in Casper, Wyo., following a
lengthy battle with liver ailments. He was 56.
LeDoux was admitted to Wyoming Medical Center in Casper
earlier this week after experiencing complications from
his cancer. He and his family lived on a ranch near Kaycee,
Wyo.

It is by Gary Lee it sounds nothing at all like Chris, even listening to some of his old 8-Track albums he & his family made, well copied, at their kitchen table it sounds NOTHING like his voice at any time in his singing career! I still can't believe he is gone, oh well I guess we all have our time to go, I just wish we could have got another 20 years of his singing in his great way he sang!!! I was at a friends place -- Artemis Acres Paint Horse Ranch -- in northwest Montana -- musta been four years ago. They had a big trail ride and a cookout up in their meadow, and everyone had come back to the lodge as the evening got cooler. A guy there started pickin and singing this song. It was awesome. Just him and one other guy on guitars. He wrote the song for Chris Ladoux. I think he had won an award for it. I just googled his name -- Jake Brooks. He was an amazing talent.

i find it funny that someone states "chris is a genius" and mandy says "chris sings it better" this was never done by chris. it doesn't sound like chris. chris would have never done a song like this. talking with him one day, he was appalled by it. i can't figure out why anyone that listens to chris would think he would do a song even remotely like this. it's not his style at all!
