Perhaps more than any other city in the United States,

the cultural diversity that has served as both a nurturer
of significant musical talent and a magnet that drew the
best from other areas. Jazzman Lionel Hampton arrived in

In 1967, Chicago musicians Robert Lamm, James Pankow,
Walter Parazaider, Lee Loughnane, Terry Kath, Peter Cetera,

Chicago 16/Sonny Think Twice | Reviewer: Kyle S. Nesbitt
------ About the song Sonny Think Twice performed by Chicago
Written I assume by Ian Thomas. They should released it in 1982. The greatest band in U.S. history no doubt. They should have been in the R and R Hall of Fame Charter Member.
Bobby Lamm and Bob Welch my favorite songwriters, however.
Peace!!!
Wishing You Were Here | Reviewer: Michele Chi Fan
------ About the song Wishing You Were Here performed by Chicago
This is in response to Bob's question. The late Terry Kath sang the first and last verses in the song. There is a video of him on Youtube singing it during New Years Eve 1975 if you want to check it out. The Beach Boys were also lending a hand on the original track and in the video.

A Passion for Winter | Reviewer: Mark
------ About the song Song Of The Evergreens performed by Chicago
Man, was Terry Kath a talent! Every year about this time, I break out this song to herald the coming of winter. It so happens that our first snow is falling RIGHT NOW and it truly is dazzling. "Song of the Evergreens" is a passionate ode to a special season. What a great legacy...part of Terry returns each time I hear great works of his such as this. Enjoy.
I Agree | Reviewer: ed
------ About the song Feelin' Stronger Everyday performed by Chicago
Most lyric boards have the lyric as:
"Best thing to happen to you
Best thing to happen to me"
Or something similar. Two bests.
I agree with Rhonda. I hear it as "worst thing to happen to me". To me, that makes most sense and makes the song come alive. It's a song convincing us that we're overcoming the hand we've been dealt, as much as we really are agonizing over it, but we're finding our way through. We're feeling stronger everyday, but really, deep down inside it's killing us. If that's not what Peter Cetera was singing, it certainly should have been.

------ About the song Questions 67 and 68 performed by Chicago
These are questions asked during 1967 and 1968. (No, there weren't 66 questions before these, just like there weren't 57 poems before "Poem 58" -- similarly "25 Or 6 To 4" describes 3:34AM or 3:35AM -- get it now?) The protagonist of the song is asking, after a "free love" episode, whether sex itself can spark true deep love, but he doesn't really want the answers because it will destroy his concept of the beauty and mysteriousness of the afterglow.
This and "Afterglow" by the Small Faces are the only songs I believe I've ever heard that address the concept of an afterglow.

------ About the song Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? performed by Chicago
This is one of my favorite songs in the world. It is so sad that in our modern day America we are caught is such a fast paced society. We need to take time to cry, to breathe, to live, and not let life pass us by because we are trying to keep up with the world. Trust me, I know, you can run, but you can never catch up. The world will keep on spinning, life will get better if we take time to appreciate the world around us.

One of the few sites that gets lyrics correct.
Who is singing the first second and last verse? It is obvious the Peter sings the middle segment.

song for you | Reviewer: sukma
------ About the song Song For You performed by Chicago
i heard this song for the first time when i was about seven years old. I am Balinese, (just for your info) a Balinese is a person who come from and live in Bali, a small beautiful island with unique culture and traditions in Indonesian Archipelago. This song remind me to that time situation, when my father got upset with my brother. My Brother got upset too because of that. And i remember to his habitual when he was sad. He would sing this song. But now i hardly hear this song. I Really want to be able to sing it, but i don,t know the lyrics, and no body could help me. I Like the melancholic sense of this song eventthough may be the lyrics itself is not as melancholic as i thought.
