Cheap Sex was forged out of a need for real, socially
aware punk in the San Diego scene. With an outbreak of
pop-punk and emo the scene seemed void of any punk with a
hardcore/street/77 influence. Started in December of 2002
the band quickly came together and had a five-song demo.
Soon after they were signed to Punk Core Records and
recorded a full-length album titled Launch Off To War (Punk
