I admire anyone willing to fight for our country's freedoms and for our country's families. I admire modern soliders even more, because you never know if you are giving your life for america's protection or for the wealth of the people that "we" elected. I agree with the fact that we cant bitch about the government whilst doing nothing, but Things are different these days, and the world is overflowing with people. everything is corrupt. there is almost nothing even a handful of people can do to change the world without billions of dollars. OUR GOVERNMENT IS NO REPRESENTATION OF US. it would be if it weren't for the fact that we only get to choose between a handful of white people who are rich enough to run for office and campaign across the country. "I" did not elect anyone of these bastards. ive only been an eligible voter for a year, so how is it that the government represents me when i havent even had any say over it except for the past year? it doesnt. we dont live in a free country. the government is not made up of the people anymore, its made up of 90% of the same people: rich white males who sacrifice their honor and duty for money, not to mention the countless lives they have stepped on and ruined to get where they are now. Especially not to mention all the people they willingly kill and let die for financial gain.

I lost a uncle in the war; he was a General. there shouldnt be a war... young people are in the war and they hav to see the stuff and shoot ppl not knowing if they are innocent or not... i wish that they can just call for peace,,, and not have to hav a war again,,,. people are dying around us and we dont even care but to kill more,,,. so yea... thats all i got to say..., XP

I love punk rock, and I am a soldier in the US army. I joined to preserve the freedom enjoyed by Americans. If you don't like our war, go out and do something. The soldiers simply follow the orders of the officials that YOU elected. Never forget that the American Wars are a direct result of the American PEOPLE....we own the government. If you don't like what they are doing, it is your responsibility to do something. You can't sit back and accuse the government of being wrong. The US Government is a direct representation of you. We are not victims of our government in America. If you are a victim of the American Government, then you are either too weak, lazy, or dumb to make a difference.

While it is true that war kills innocent (and guilty) humans, the sad truth is that as long as we (humans) are breathing there will always be war. There are many reasons why, personally I believe that it has to do with sin (but nobody has to believe that i'm not forcing views here). I would love nothing more than a world with no wars but the world and humanity are not perfect and therefore there will always be war, the best we can do is try to limit the amount of it and try to solve conflicts peacefully, but that doesn't always work especially with inherently evil people (Hitler, Stalin, Bin Laden). Personally I would rather fight for my own freedom and die for someone elses than to be put into the bonds of slavery because i didnt want to fight. Freedom by war is better than slavery by peace. Someday people will have to realize that they cant group every war together under the same name "EVIL." There are pointless evil wars yes (often pursued by evil dictators) and there are just wars (WWII) think about it would the world be a better place if we had stayed home because we didnt want our boys dying becuase i'm sure thats what Hitler wouldve wanted? At some point in time you have to start living in the real world and know that war (no matter how evil it may be) is sometimes a necessary evil and yes people will die but that is the price of freedom. Stevie i feel ya man its truly sad that your granddaughter will have to grow up in a world with war but thats life. Just like the fact that she will also grow up in a world filled with diseases and rapists and criminals and backwards corrupt politicians that keep promising stuff (peace, wealth distribution, health care) but they just sit on their huge piles of money smoking cigars doing nothing to help her (and you and me and everyone else). Thats life man, no matter how bad it seems.

I love the casualties they were my 1st true hardcore punk show. The first time i heard this it blew me away.You need to add a few to that list of bands sum 41, Green day, blink 182 just a few more fakes.

Joe Bonham, a young soldier serving in World War I, awakes in a hospital bed after being caught in the blast of an exploding artillery shell. He gradually realizes that he has lost all of his mobility and his senses except for touch — he has lost his arms, legs, eyes, nose, ears, tongue, both jaws and all of his face — but that his mind functions perfectly, leaving him a prisoner in his own body. He tries to die by suffocating himself but he has been given a tracheotomy, which he cannot remove or control. He attempts to communicate with his doctors by banging his head on his pillow in Morse code. His wish is that he may be put in a glass tube and tour the country, to show people the true horrors of war. His wish is never granted, however, and it is implied that he will live the rest of his natural life in this condition.
