CASTRUM was formed in September of 1994, when two
friends (Cornelius - guitar and Georgius - vocals) decided
to create a unique Death Metal band with one aim to play
the music they like. At the beginning they characterized
the style of CASTRUM as Gothic-Brutal Death Metal with
medieval parts. At this time the band's drummer was
Lancelot. But, after four months Lancelot left the band (he
