So out of hand... | Reviewer: Nickademus | 9/10/2004Canibus will give you a new awareness of what rap is with this album. Track 12 is seriously the best rap writing i have ever witnessed. Think of all the funny punchlines you've heard on the radio.. Now make them original and rhyme them together for a 100 bars and you have a canibus track from the curriculum. I laugh outloud whenever i listen to the album becuase i always hear something new and original that i missed the previous listen.
And the beats, oh lord the beats. Canibus delivers where almost all other rap artists fall short. The beats are addictively moody and yet maintain an instrumental complexity that radio rap so desperately needs.
Miclub is hidden treasure among a great wasteland of broken club themes of todays "artists". With Canibus its always about the verses and Miclub is no acception, its so out of hand....
