Oh, and Avenged Sevenfold has been writing about the Christian-esk theology for a long time (or at least make references to it), so for those that are making a big deal out of it, don't. For example, you have obviously Beast and the Harlot, which is obviously about the new Babylon mentioned in Revelations and it's fall during the end days. You have Chapter 4, which is about Cain and Able (Chapter 4, the title is a reference to the chapter of Genesis that the story is in). Oh, and you have The Wicked End, which makes references to Eden and such. I don't know if I would consider Burn It Down to be referencing the bible, but it really wouldn't suprise me. I think that Avenged Sevenfold is very interesting because they are very into the passages from the bible, but alot of their songs have show a more dark side (for example, Chapter 4 is from the point of view of Cain). I think that they use these images to convey the messages of the songs rather than to be what the songs are about. Honestly, I don't think that Avenged Sevenfold really worship anyone, but in the case of Dear God, they want someone to protect their loved ones and such because they can't themselves, because alot of people pray even if they don't worship a higher power. I would consider them to be kinda agnostic in a way, which is seen in Waking the Fallen. Anyways, forgive me for my long rant lol.
