Off the bus onto the train
Getting all to high, gotta head on 5th and main
I look like you I feel the same
You don't even know my name
I got this town all to myself
Well everybody's gone to the everybody shelf
Are you coming through, do you want me to, take your body
It would be so cool, to be cool with you, I said lordy lordy
I don't like blood into the chain
There aint a nelly man that stays up in my brain
dirty son will find a way
Do you even want to stay
Are you coming through, do you want me to, take your body
It would be so cool, to be cool with you, I said lordy lordy
Where'd you get that bruise, do you want me to,
take your body
I must still, taking your bod away
Are you coming through, do you want me to, take your body
It would be so cool, to be cool with you. I said lordy lordy
Where'd you get that bruise, do you want me to,
take your body
I must still, taking your bod away

Review about Bunker Hill It's a shame it didn't make Californication | Reviewer: Jake | 3/18/09
This is such a beautiful song... this and Quixoticelixer should have made the cut. I know Anthony was upset that Quixoticelixer didn't make it, and I think I remember hearing that he also wished Bunker Hill would've made it too. Either way, this is easily one of my favorite RHCP songs, even if they're all my favorite.
Incorrect information, regarding Bunker Hill. | Reviewer: Paul P. Isaac | 3/27/07
Bunker Hill is a track that was written and recorded sometime between May and August 1998. It was initially intended to be released on Californication (as evident with the mastering, as well as Kiedis' distinguishable 'Californication-era' vocals). The track was subsequently omitted from the final album release for unknown reasons, yet was present on 'Californication RC1 (Release Candidate 1)' that was sent to technicians for album arrangement and post-production mastering. The track was mysteriously omitted from Release Candidate 2, in which it was seemingly replaced by Fat Dance. Neither Bunker Hill nor Fat Dance made it onto the final retail version. Bunker Hill was later released on the 'Fortune Faded' single, although it's important to note that this version of Bunker Hill was NOT the version that was present on Release Candidate 1, but a slight variation.
I have gathered this information from various sources, including friends of the band, engineers who worked with band during recording, as well as industry contacts.
