While his tenure as the frontman for the legendary Roxy
Music remained his towering achievement, singer Bryan Ferry
also carved out a successful solo career which continued in
the lush, sophisticated manner perfected on the group's
final records. Born September 26, 1945 in Washington,
England, Ferry, the son of a coal miner, began his musical
career as a singer with the rock outfit the Banshees while
studying art at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne under
pop-conceptualist Richard Hamilton. He later joined the Gas
Board, a soul group featuring bassist Graham Simpson; in
1970, Ferry and Simpson formed Roxy Music.
Within a few years, Roxy Music had become phenomenally

Review about Bryan Ferry Bittersweet | Reviewer: Roger
------ About the song I'll See You Again performed by Bryan Ferry
I'll See You Again is from Coward's musical Bittersweet. It's a lovely song. Coward certainly late now grass grow under his feet. He worked constantly and swiftly. He didn't sit laboriously at the piano, composing. Rather he'd mostly quickly write down the basic tune and lyrics to his songs, then give the arranging to others. He was a "right handed" composer.

------ About the song I'll See You Again performed by Bryan Ferry
My school is doing this play and I'm in it. The play is called Blithe Spirit and in the very last scene Edith (that's me) has to sing this song in a cockney accent. It's amazingly funny. The play is amazing and I L-O-V-E Noel Coward. He was an amazing playwright and songwriter/ singer.

------ About the song Slave to Love performed by Bryan Ferry
Great Song. Sounds to me like something you would hear at a strip club. Only problem with the lyrics that I can hear is near the end of the song
No I can't escape
should be: And I can't escape

------ About the song Slave to Love performed by Bryan Ferry
ine the greatest hits ever of all time,he performed it at live aid in 1985 with some technical difficulties, great singer formely with the band(roxy music)....
This was one of mine and my ex's (Barbara Neill, nee Harding) favourite songs.
She died last Thursday, 30th March 2006.
And it makes me feel so sorry, as I never was able to reconcile our relationship - based on a friendship lasting some 19 years; and now I never can - and nor can she.
Requiescat in pace, my love.

------ About the song Kiss and Tell performed by Bryan Ferry
Well, you may or may not have lived the 80's music scene, but if you matured (physically, sexually, and emotionally with the 80's as your chronological backdrop, the video and music set to this tune just "said it all". Daryll Hanan, Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas did a fantastic job with the film and Bryan Ferry served up the goods with this track.
i needed a copy of this song for a vietnam vet who once had a roomate who sang the chorus only, "over and over and over." He last saw him five years ago and was pleased to find this tune.
i think it is like the best song ever
