Brian Wilson Lyrics

He is one of rock's most deeply revered figures, a
legendary writer, producer, arranger and performer of some
of the most cherished music in rock history. Indeed, it is
no exaggeration to call Brian Wilson one of the most
influential pop composers of the last 50 years.

------ About the song Love And Mercy performed by Brian Wilson

Choir version background verse

I was sit'in in a church
just wait'in for God to appear

When the angles came and told me
tell the people, He's already here

They said listen my son
and you will hear

Oh love and mercy
with that you'll have more fear

Oh love and mercy
Is why I came hear

Oh love and mercy
is what we need tonight

With love and mercy
there'll be no more tears

Oh love and mercy be with you tonight
Yes, love and mercy will win the fight

Oh love and mercy, Oh love and mercy
Oh love and mercy, Oh love and mercy...................

------ About the song Good Vibrations performed by Brian Wilson

Looks good, but where are the "humby down whoa"s? Can someone add those in? They would go right before the "gotta keep those lovin' good vibrations happening with her." This is the version that Brian Wilson did for Smile, not the Beach Boys originally released version, though this version is also on the Beach Boy's Smile sessions disc. Thanks!

------ About the song Let It Shine performed by Brian Wilson

Beautiful song. Not only in the musical sense, but also in the lyrics. I think that the main theme of the song is Jesus/God. At least that's what I take away from it. A sort of Gospel song. Brian's main contribution to the song is the "Let it shine" part without the instruments in the beginning and at the end. Mostly written by Jeff Lynn. The CD liner notes say as much. My favorite song on the entire CD. (Brian Wilson) released in the late eighties.
